Omschrijving
Schneider Electric heeft kwetsbaarheden verholpen in Saitel componenten.
De kwetsbaarheden bevinden zich in de wijze waarop de BLMon Console omgaat met speciale elementen in besturingssysteemcommando's tijdens SSH-sessies. Een kwaadwillende kan deze kwetsbaarheden misbruiken om ongeautoriseerde shell-commando's uit te voeren, wat kan leiden tot een compromittering van de systeemintegriteit.
Voor succesvol misbruik moet de kwaadwillende toegang hebben tot de productie-omgeving. Het is goed gebruik een dergelijke omgeving niet publiek toegankelijk te hebben.
Oplossingen
Schneider Electric heeft updates uitgebracht om de kwetsbaarheden te verhelpen. Zie bijgevoegde referenties voor meer informatie.
